Clinical Observation on the Essential Hypertension


Abstract
One hundred and two cases of essential hypes tension were studied and the results were as follows.
1. In one hundred and two cases of the hypertension sixty-seven cases were males and thirty-five cases females.
Hypertension was for more common in males than in females, by ratio of about 2 to 1.
2. In subject symptoms palpitation was 32.6%, dyspnea 28.4%, headache 27.5%, dizziness 27.5%, chest discomfort 23.5 0,¢¥ and fatigue 15.7
3. On the auscultation systolic murmurs at the apex were in 35 cases.
4. Albumin aria were in 14 cases.
5. On the X-ray examination cardiac enlargement were in 50 cases.
6. On the electrocardiogram ventricular hypertrophy were in 51 cases.
